Chris Barlow to coach Junior Team USA at Pan Am Championships

Congratulations to Chris Barlow, Head Coach, San Diego Canoe & Kayak Team on his selection as a coach for Junior Team USA for the Pan Am Championships, August 7-10, 2010 in Mexico City, Mexico. The Junior Team athletes will be selected based on performance at the Oklahoma City Nationals August 26-28, 2010.

Chris is a former USA Olympian '92 MK4, President and Founder of San Diego Canoe and Kayak Team, Assistant Coach '09 Junior World Championships Team USA, assistant coach at the Fall Kayak Camps OTC Chula Vista in '07, '08, '09 and an assistant coach at Lake Placid July '09 and '10. Chris has been a Director with the Sprint Coaches Association since its formation in 2007. Chris Barlow is certified High Performance One with the USA Canoe Kayak Coaching Education Program and is currently training in High Performance Two.

The USA Canoe Kayak Sprint Selection Committee made its decision from the list of coaching applicants following the posting of this Junior Team position on the website August 9-13, 2010.
