ENTRY DEADLINE

The entry deadline for the USA Canoe/Kayak Charlotte Open is March 22, 2010.

Numerical entries submitted by Federations for the ICF Rankings are due on March 13, 2010.

Nominal entries submitted by Federations for the ICF Rankings are due March 22, 2010.

OFFICIAL TRAINING

Official training will begin Tuesday prior to the race. There will be two (2) one-hour training blocks allocated for competitors on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The schedule will be posted on the Sunday prior to the race, HERE, and at the venue. If you wish to have additional training times please contact David Hepp at dhepp@usnwc.org.

An additional fee will apply for extra training times.

Awards

The organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule.

MEDALS

Medals will be awarded in the following classes: K-1M, K-1W, C-1M, C-1W, C-2M

START ORDER

C-2M-->C-1W-->K-1W-->C-1M-->K-1M

Athletes will be ranked according to the most current ICF Rankings. Unranked athletes will be placed at the beginning of his/her class. The start order will be in reverse order meaning the #1 athlete will be the last athlete to start in his/her class.

PROVISIONAL START LIST

Provisional start lists will be posted this is web page and at the venue on March 24, 2010.

Please, carefully check that you are correctly represented on the start list including the spelling of your name and Federation.

Please notify the competition organizers of any required changes.

DEMONSTRATION RUNS

Demonstration runs for Qualifications will be held on April 1, 2010.

Demonstration runs for Semi-Final/Final will be held on April 2, 2010.

Any changes to the course will be posted on the results board.
