2010 USACK Sprint Team Trials for Seniors and Juniors

Entry Requirements
All athletes must have a valid individual or family membership and be in good financial standing with USA Canoe Kayak.
Contact the USACK Office if you have questions about your USACK membership.
Competitors must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Competitors in the Senior Trials must have been born during or before 1995.
Competitors in the Junior Trials must have been born during 1992, 1993, 1994 or 1995.
Passports must be valid for more than 6 months beyond the end of the competitions that are referenced in this competition.
Boat Control
All boats must meet the SRC boat specifications defined in the SRC Racing Rules, Section V. Classes and Building Rules.

Pre-competition certification: Friday, April 23, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the OTC Boathouse.
All boats should complete pre-competition boat control.
Race Day Boat Control will open 1 hour prior to the first race of the session.
Athlete Check-In
Friday, April 23, 2009, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the OTC Boathouse
Proof of age (Passport, Driver's License, etc) must be provided at Athlete Check-In.
Required Forms
Competitors must submit signed (with parent/guardian signature as required) USACK Waiver, Code of Conduct, and Agreement to the Selection Criteria forms to compete in the Team Trials. These forms will be sent to all Trials registrants.
Signed forms can be emailed to sprint@usack.org, faxed to the USACK Office (fax 704-348-4418), or submitted at Athlete Check-in.

2010 USACK Sprint Selection Criteria
OTC Housing and Meal Plans
Limited on-site housing at the USOC Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Chula Vista is available during the Team Trials.
Senior and junior athlete housing allocations will be based on attendance at the 2009 Junior and Senior World Championships in Olympic events.
A limited number of OTC Meal cards are available for $35 and limited number of OTC lunch cards are available for $10 – for more information contact stacey@usack.org. Payment for lunch cards are due before the Cards can be issued.
Pre-Trials Training
Training for athletes who are not part of the OTC Residency Program is available starting Monday, April 20, 2010.
