In partnership with the U.S. Olympic Committee, United Airlines is proud to provide a travel discount to USA Canoe/Kayak athletes, staff, organization/club members and their families attending the 2009 USA Canoe/Kayak Annual Assembly in Charlotte, North Carolina.

How to book travel with United Airlines
USA Canoe/Kayak has been assigned an event code to be used when purchasing tickets on United or United Express flights (code share flights are not eligible for discounted fares). The event code assigned to USA Canoe/Kayak will activate fare discounts.
There are three ways to book discount air travel with United: by phone, internet or travel agency.
Phone – United Olympic Desk:
You may continue to call the United Olympic Desk at 800-841-0460 Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 8:00pm (EST)
The $25 reservations and booking fee will be waived for all NGBs utilizing the Olympic Desk for USOC recognized events reservations.
United is pleased to offer a 2-10% discount on published domestic fares and 7-15% discount on International fares for all US Olympic recognized events and meetings when calling the United Olympic Desk. Discounts are available on United and United Express flights as well as United-marketed Air Canada and Lufthansa code share flights. Discount varies by booking class and at time of ticketing. Certain published fares may not be eligible for the discount.

Internet – www.united.com/usoc
You may now purchase your domestic tickets online and receive a 5% discount off the lowest applicable internet fares. By booking your travel online you will receive the lowest guaranteed united.com fares and will never pay a booking fee.
To book travel online visit www.united.com/usoc. Enter the requested travel information and your five digit event code where prompted. Click the search button to display available flights and discounted fares.

Travel Agency:
You may also continue to use a travel agency to receive discounted published air fares. The agency will be required to have a copy of United’s 2009 fare sheets and ticketing instructions in order to access the USOC discount. Please contact the USOC Travel Office in order to obtain a copy of the discount levels and ticketing instructions. Discounts range from 2-10% and are based on time of ticketing and availability.
The travel agency must use each NGBs designated event code in order to track earned revenue. Tickets purchased through a travel agency may be subject to agency booking fees.

International Travel:
All international travel (with the exception of Canada) must continue to be booked by calling the United Olympic Desk. Discounts for international travel are not available on united.com/usoc.
